My calling to counseling grew out of a deep love for people, a desire to see them overcome challenges, and the joy of watching them discover hope after difficult seasons. That calling led me to earn my undergraduate degree in Christian Counseling from Liberty University in 2019 and my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the same institution in 2022.
At Be Still Counseling, I specialize in supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and stress. My approach is Christ-centered and trauma-informed, blending evidence-based tools like CBT, grounding, and mindfulness with the encouragement, peace, and hope that faith brings.
A little about me personally: I’m a wife, a bonus mom to an amazing 13-year-old boy, and mom to a spunky, sassy 4-year-old girl—with another baby girl on the way! I’m both a pastor’s daughter and a pastor’s wife (yes, the double whammy 😊), which has given me a unique perspective on ministry life and its challenges.
In the counseling room, you’ll find my style warm, empathetic, and often a little playful—I believe healing can include both tears and laughter. My goal is to create a safe, authentic space where you can be open, heard, and supported without judgment, and to help you leave each session feeling lighter, more encouraged, and more hopeful than when you arrived.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, sipping tea on coffee dates, and dreaming big about the future of Be Still Counseling—not just as a counseling center, but as a Christ-centered retreat space for rest and restoration.
✨ Whether you’re starting therapy for the first time or returning after a break, I’m here to meet you where you are, help you find your footing, and walk alongside you toward a healthier, more hopeful future.
Choose hope.
